I started a new job in the clerks department with his mom. she and I became fast friends and great colleagues! I caught his attention when he would come in to see her and he asked about me a few times- at first the timing wasn't right but one day it was and I was single and alone Christmas eve when he invited me for drinks with himself and his friends. I found myself accepting the invitation and we had a great time. After that night he asked me out on a real date! We got to experience a few months of normalcy with new adventures and travel before the pandemic hit but even admist the chaos of the 2020 year, our love and friendship blossomed . My children adore him and we have had some wonderful times with friends and family throughout our relationship. On a beautiful August day we held a pool party with close family and friends and I surprised him with a birthday cake to celebrate his birthday a few days early but the real surprise was on me ! We were engaged that very day ! Life has brought a lot of uncertainty and it's ups and downs but we are so excited for our friends and family to join us as we say I DO this October, close to the very spot where it all began ! The Vaughan "farm" holds a lot of beautiful memories for us and is the perfect place to exchange vows and celebrate the beginning of our lives together as a family !
