What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests should plan to arrive for the ceremony on the Lakeview Patio no later than 2:45pm.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will be held on the Lakeview Patio which will be outdoors. The reception will be held at The Pine Room which will be indoors, however, the cocktail hour before is on the patio of The Pine Room.

Where is the ceremony located?

Answer

The ceremony is located on the Lakeview Patio which is within the Wilson Lodge at Oglebay. *In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Fort Henry Room which is also located within Wilson Lodge at Oglebay. Both addresses: 465 Lodge Drive Wheeling, WV 26003

Where is the reception located?

Answer

The reception is in the Pine Room. This is about a 2-3 minute drive from Wilson Lodge at Oglebay. (Pine Room building is apart of Oglebay and is on the property) The Pine Room address: 1637 Waddington Drive, Wheeling WV 26003

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available near both the ceremony and reception sites.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal please. This means suits/ties and cocktail dresses. Dress to impress!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding.

What if I have a dietary restriction or an allergy?

Answer

If there is a dietary restriction or allergy, please let the bride or groom know ahead of time so that something can be prepared.

Is there transportation provided to the hotel?

Answer

Yes, a trolley service will be provided from the ceremony site to the cocktail hour/reception, as well as, after the reception back to Wilson Lodge at Oglebay. If you prefer to drive your vehicle to and from, there is ample parking. A different shuttle service will run from Wilson Lodge at Oglebay to the Hampton Inn and vise versa upon request.
