We met when I was thirteen and Cory was fifteen. He was my cousin's neighbor and classmate growing up. From the first time I met him I immediatly had the biggest crush on him. (He was actually my first boyfriend!) Our young love ended, as it usually does, and we eventually lost touch. Fast forward 15 years to last May, we were both recently single and saw each other out dancing at our favorite bar. He gave me his number and eventually we went on our first date at Whataburger, of all places. Cory even kept the cup he drank out of that night and has it in a glass case in our kitchen. Neither of us really planned on starting a relationship, let alone a life together. We've spent nearly everyday together since then. We've truly found our other halves. On labor day weekend 2018, my friend Caitlin was visiting from Kansas City and his friend Thomas was visiting from Dallas. I woke up Saturday morning to a ring box on my chest and a very sweet proposal from Cory. We spent the rest of the day hiking to Kings River Falls and swimming with our friends and Thomas' amazing family. Soon after the engagemnt we started looking for our future home. After checking out a few places that we didn't exactly love, Cory had the idea to turn my family's barn into our dream home. We are so excited to host our wedding in our home, and even more excited to share all of our love and hard work with all of you!
