What COVID-19 precautions are being taken?

Answer

We were hoping that the situation would be safer, but for many reasons, we have little choice but to move forward. That said, please know that we understand if you do not feel safe attending. Due to the most recent research about transmissibility, we have chosen not to track the vaccine status of our guests. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, we will be seating people with their households and close family members whenever possible, and we are encouraging guests to wear masks. The ballroom holding the reception dinner will be filled to less than 50% capacity. We are hoping these measures are enough to keep the event safe. Please reach out if you have specific question or concerns.

Who is Charles? I thought Anabel was marrying a guy named Cory?

Answer

They are indeed one and the same, but Charles is Cory's legal first name.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

To book using our discount code, call 1-800-333-3333 and mention the Genevitz-Sweeney wedding or go to http://radisson.com/trevosepa, enter the date(s) you'd like to stay, select "more search options" then "promotional code" and enter 1021GS as the group code. The group code is valid for both Saturday, 10/16/21 and Sunday, 10/17/21. Reservations must be booked by 9/16/2021 and you can cancel until 6 PM on your day of check in. Your credit card information will be taken but not charged until you check-in. We will provide transportation to and from Pen Ryn for guests at the Radisson.

I don't think I'll be able to make it. Are you live streaming the ceremony?

Answer

We're looking into options to do this so that those who are unable to attend can still celebrate with us.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the wedding?

Answer

There will be a shuttle both from the hotel to Pen Ryn and back. Timing and more details will be provided closer to the date of the wedding.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Free parking is available for everyone only a few steps away from Pen Ryn Mansion, where both the ceremony and reception will be held.

Is any part of the wedding outside?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside, weather permitting. The reception will take place in a ballroom. A fire pit will be available for guests to enjoy after dinner. We will have coffee, hot chocolate, outdoor heaters, and blankets available for guests throughout the evening. If the ceremony is outside as planned, guests may have to walk over some grassy areas to get to their seats, so plan your footwear accordingly.

Is the wedding accessible for those in a wheelchair or for those who have difficulty walking?

Answer

Yes. Pen Ryn Mansion is fully accessible.
