Ya'll ready for this? Here's the short version. Like every one of the Groomsmen knows, I like whiskey. A few years ago, on a sunny day in December, this beautiful girl from across the Broncos parking lot was pouring heavy. I thought she was smiling at me for those two hours of a pregame, and turns out she was just having a good morning as a result of a good hair day... Nevertheless, she said yes to a first date, and a second, and before you know it I'm flying across countries and talking about building a house for this random girl I met while drinking in a parking lot. Love works in mysterious ways. Here is just the start of what is Our Story.
Talk about an absolutely epic 2nd date. Snowmobiling in Steamboat, CO was quite the way to set a tone, Cory.

Travel bugs from the start with a seaside romantic adventure week in Costa Rica. Also, one of the worst sunburns Alaina has ever had.
ATVing around Costa Rica and taking shots on top of the mountain while the bartender jokes in Spanish and Cory can't understand a damn thing.
First "Birthday Weekend" that we will now celebrate literally forever.
Another NY wedding from 2023, Cory's first time meeting "friends from home."

A hot stop at the Salt Flats in Death Valley National Park on a road trip to California.
From SF to San Diego, eating our way through every city we can.
Approximately 45 minutes before Cory got down on one knee; Alaina is oblivious to what is about to happen and simply enjoying a drink after a late night nursing school project.
Shortly after, "yes!"
We simply cannot forget this all happening at the same time that Alaina is graduating from nursing school!
A week later, attending the wedding of Lauren & Rio in NY. Riding that high of future forevers.
