Engagement Photos & Story

When Eric suggested a "spur-of-the-moment weekend trip" to Alaska, Cory couldn't shake the feeling that something was up. They hopped on a plane, and by Saturday, they were out on the water in Kenai Fjords National Park, whale-watching and taking in epic glacier views. Cory kept an eye on Eric, half-expecting him to pull something big any second.
Sunday was a blast—they wandered Anchorage, trying all the seafood they could find, hitting up breweries, and plane-spotting by the airport. Just when Cory thought the trip was winding down, Eric casually suggested they book a travel photographer and drive up Flattop Mountain for a “quick, easy hike” overlooking the city. At the top they met Emmie, their "travel" photographer, who was in on the scheme the whole time!
Then Eric got down on one knee, waiting for what felt like an eternity (a full two seconds) before Cory broke into a huge smile and said, “Yes!” Turns out, Cory’s hunch was spot on!
