Christina and Cory grew up 35 miles apart. They had some mutual acquaintances but they never met. She went to Purdue University and he went to University of Louisville. Fate intervened and they met when they both ended up interning at the same company. Soon after that, Cory asked her out and initially she said no (even though she liked him.) She changed her mind on April 15, 2011.

Cory brought home their favorite dinner, sushi. He said that he had a present for her and brought out some beautiful flowers (for the first time in their relationship, no matter what he says.) Then he said he had another present and got down on one knee. She said yes! They hugged and Winston (the dog) got jealous and jumped up and down next to them. It was still perfect.
