If you are arriving to New Orleans early check out the Greek Fest May 27-29 This annual Memorial Day weekend festival celebrating the Greek heritage of New Orleans centers around food and drink — think pastries, souvlaki, gyros, and ouzo — but also features dancing, crafts, cathedral tours, and cooking demos. Entrance is $10, children under 12 are admitted for free.
