Make sure you complete your Aruba entry (ED) card the week you travel! You will need this at passport control! This can be completed at https://edcardaruba.aw/welcome and costs $20.
Sunscreen, swimsuits, a little spending money (USD) for tips and taxis, and your event attire! Easiest packing list ever!
Most airline carriers have several flight options each day into Aruba. We recommend setting up a flight tracker for your desired arrival and departure dates on google to monitor prices. We’ve found the cheapest time to purchase our flights between December and February. The airport is about 30-40 minutes from the Palm Beach/Eagle Beach area.
Transportation to and from the airport/venue/ hotels is the responsibility of the guest. For airport transportation we recommend booking a private transfer through Wix tours. They wait for you at the airport and take you directly to your hotel. They will also return to take you back to the airport on your departure date. They are reliable, friendly and affordable. Another option are taxis! Taxis in Aruba are extremely easy to catch, reliable and safe. They are also regulated fares so no risk of expensive taxis!
We would love our guests to wear semi-formal attire with a colorful twist (think jewel tones or florals) to our event. For the women, please wear midi or floor length dresses only. For the men, please wear suit and a tie. For examples please see the attached links. https://pin.it/6cJIpsQKI https://pin.it/303ZvNKlh https://pin.it/14cM4GcEH https://pin.it/16tOqN29C Please no black, tan, white, ivory or cream clothing.
The ceremony will start at 5:30pm. Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to get checked in with the venue and settled.
We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We ask that all cellphones be silenced and put away during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
Unfortunately, we have a set limit with the venue so we are unable to accommodate extra guests. Thank you for understanding.
The weather stays fairly consistent in Aruba. Highs in the 80’s during the day, sunny, windy and humid. Light rain showers can pass through, but typically for only a few minutes, then back to sunshine!
Weather permitting, we will be outdoors for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Afterwards, the reception will be indoors.
