How did you two meet?
Answer
Our paths had intertwined several times in our 15 year history of living in a small town. Corrin took care of Sky’s beloved Grandmother “Graham Cracker” in her final chapter of life. Corrin remembers seeing her super cute grandson that would come and have dinner with her. Sky remembers the cute nurse at the hospital, but ultimately never connected with Corrin until one very chance encounter in the woods. It was the middle of September and Sky was hunting alone when he stumbled across several other hunters. Sky and the other hunters were all planning to stay the night in the same spot, so Sky befriended these men. The conversation that night focused around hunting and as the night grew late, Sky offered up a brand new treestand to any of the hunters who wanted it because Sky wasn’t going to use it. One of the hunters was excited about this prospect and said he’d happily take it! With enthusiasm this other hunter said, “what can I give you for it?” Sky’s response set the stage for years to come… “Just send a good woman my way” he said. The next morning Sky had a date with Corrin, and the rest is history.

What are our honeymoon plans?
Answer
We will be going on a mini honeymoon in Mexico just after our Wedding Ceremony, to a tiny little town on the East Cape on a Marine Preserve. Then after our many celebrations we will take the real honeymoon to some exotic beach resort, imagine an eco friendly over the water bungalow where we can roll out of bed and into the water!

Who takes out the trash?
Answer
Whoever can’t squeeze one more item into the trash bin. The rule is that the lid still has to close all the way, we can’t have other people seeing our trash!

What is the best meal you have eaten together?
Answer
Sky cooks up some amazing Game Meat steaks that we have harvested ourselves. I sit on a bar stool across from him, sipping on my wine, as Sky cooks up delicious steaks with lots of butter. The secret is a super hot cast iron skillet with lots of butter.

What’s the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Answer
So many to pick from: surfing in Nicaragua, watching the Northern Lights in Alaska, taking Sky to Stew Leonards. But hands down, most memorable was our Denton Family trip to Egypt. We are still in awe and still don’t know how they built those pyramids (aliens).
