Our story began back in high school, when fate, with a little help from our good friend, Payton, brought us together. At the time, we had no idea just how meaningful that introduction would be, but looking back now, it was the start of everything. Josh was the football player with a kind heart and an unforgettable laugh, and I was the girl who didn’t yet realize how much I needed him until he was there. What started as small conversations quickly turned into late nights talking, endless laughter, and little traditions we still hold close to our hearts. One of our favorites was our frequent trips to Steak ’n Shake. After school or football games, Josh would drive us there, and those milkshakes and fries became the backdrop to some of our very first memories together. As the years went on, life took us to college, thankfully, in the same town. Having each other nearby made every challenge a little easier and every joy a little brighter. We grew up together during those years, and once graduation came, it wasn’t long before we were ready for our first big step: moving into an apartment of our own. That’s when Rover came along and changed everything in the best way. Our sweet pup quickly became part of our family, teaching us responsibility, patience, and just how much love can fit into one home. Some of our favorite memories from that time are the simplest ones, laughing as Rover zoomed around the living room, or sitting on the floor surrounded by boxes in our first apartment, dreaming about the future. That future has led us here to the home we’ve built together and the life we’ve created side by side. Through all the chapters, high school football games, Steak ’n Shake dates, late-night study sessions, first keys, and puppy cuddles, we’ve grown not only as individuals but as partners who know they are better together. And now, it’s time for our next step, the one we’ve been building toward all along. Getting married feels like the most natural continuation of our story, and also the most exciting. We can’t wait to stand before our family and friends, say “I do,” and begin this new chapter together as husband and wife.
