Our story started with a message and a poem. Corrina cast out a spell to sea months before they met, wrote a poem calling him in. It wasn't long before they found one another. We were both on the same online course, brought there by a mutual friend, not looking for what we found. When we got on that first Zoom call and all those faces appeared on the screen. Clint's eyes went straight to the top left corner. To her. And something in him already knew. Becky paired us together. An exercise. Use your modalities, help each other. It was supposed to be coursework. It felt like a first date. He was nervous. He wanted her to like him. When it was his turn to hold space for her, something shifted. He looked at her vulnerability, this woman letting herself be seen by a near stranger, and he knew instantly. There was nothing to fix. There was nothing broken here. She just needed a container of love. Someone to witness her. And he knew, with a clarity that doesn't come from thinking, that he wanted to be that. That's it. That was the whole thing. She had been talking in the course about what she really wanted. What she'd been longing for. And Clint sat there realizing he hadn't known what he wanted either, until she named it. She revealed it to him. Filled in the gaps he didn't even know were there. He thought, yes. That. That is what I wanted too. They weren't there for each other's coaching. They weren't there to fix each other. They came, both of them, a little worn from living. But they didn't need fixing. They just needed each other. They fell in love before meeting. It was 10 months before they met in person She taught him to be the man he'd always wanted to become. To honor himself. To honor the feminine. To feel his own emotions instead of outrunning them. He can't go back from that. Wouldn't want to. He crossed an ocean. She waited, and built, and held the thread. Long distance since 2023. 10 trips across the ocean. Five kids and 5 grandkids between them. An intimate event with our closest. And a man who knew within half a millisecond that she was it. Every step has led us home.
