A mutual friend introduced Corren and Andrew during the spring semester of their junior year of high school. They went to different high schools at the time, but they spent a lot of time texting and going on dates throughout the summer. They ended up at the same high school for senior year and enjoyed their accounting class together. Outside of school, some of their favorite dates were fishing, hiking, and attending youth group at Corren's church.

Corren and Andrew dated long distance for four years while Corren attended Baylor University in Texas and Andrew stayed in St. Louis and earned his pilot license. These years were some of the most challenging ones, but it made every moment together sweeter. Through many FaceTime calls, online game nights, and trips back to St. Louis, they knew that God was calling them towards marriage.

Corren flew home for a weekend in October to attend a friend's wedding with Andrew. The following day, Andrew invited Corren over for a breakfast bonfire at his house, something he had been mentioning for a few months. Bonfires have always been special to them, as it was one of their first dates. Corren was oblivious and expecting a proposal towards the end of the year, so when Andrew's sister asked to take pictures of them for her photography class, Corren thought nothing of it. After taking a few pictures and perfecting the camera settings, Andrew got down on one knee and brought out the ring! It was the sweetest surprise, and they were able to celebrate with family and friends afterwards.

The couple will be living in St. Louis, as most of their family and friends are here! Corren will begin a job in public accounting and earn her CPA license, and Andrew will pursue additional aviation training. His ultimate goal is to become a medical evacuation/organ transplant pilot.
