Best Man
Ryan met Chris at Northwest University in 2021. It was a very sudden yet close and long lasting friendship. Since then he has been Chris's ride or die, thrifting buddy, and together they are graphic design nerds. they also roomed together in Chris's junior year in college. Ryan is responsible for putting Chris on with Selena Quintanilla's music, and Goodwill. Ryan shares a lot of common interest and values with Chris and their close bond is why he is Chris's best man. Fun fact: Chris was also part of Ryan's wedding in 2023!
Ashlyn McIntosh
Maid of Honor
Bri met Ashlyn in their freshman year of college but were only acquainted until their junior year where they became roommates (that is our favorite story to tell). They became more than roommates and became close friends making lots of memories and going through the ups and downs of life together. They lived so well together that they also were roommates their senior year and the rest is history. Ashlyn and Bri share lots of values and beliefs making their friendship so special. Bri is so thankful that God placed someone like Ashlyn in her life!
Johnny Heredia III

Johnny is Chris's older brother. Johnny and Chris were the typical bickering siblings until their late teenage years. They formed a bond through music, Jesus, and creativity. There are deep references they both have that connect their brains to each other. Very strange, but hey, that's brotherhood. Johnny is responsible for about 30% of Chris's music taste, meanwhile Chris is responsible for about 50% of Johnny's current music taste; they both struggle to admit it.
Julia Matsumoto
Bridesmaid
Julia is Bri's older cousin and have been each other's besties since baby days. They have gone through all parts of life together and have had hundreds of girl talks and probably hundreds more to come. Julia is a built-in bestie and they have had so many sleepovers at their grandma's house growing up. Now that they are older, Julia and Bri enjoy going out to eat or going to the mall. Julia is the sister Bri never had and they wish they were living in the same state again.
Julio Benitez

Julio was the first friend Chris made in college. They met through the Act Six scholarship program in 2020 and ever since they've been good friends. Julio was the only close friend Chris had in his first year at Northwest. Julio has seen Chris through the best and worst phases. Julio was often the voice of reason for Chris and served a great example of leadership which Chris will never forget. Fun fact: Julio was Chris's first roommate in college!
Christen Miyasato
Bridesmaid
Christen is also Bri's older cousin and has been the older sister she never had. Christen would dress Bri and Julia up in Disney princess dresses and play with their hair and do their makeup when they were little. The 3 girl cousins love to be together all at the same place in the same state. Christen is also sometimes Julia and Bri's photographer taking fun little photos when they hang out. Some of Bri's favorite memories with Christen are going to the watch the Nutcracker in Seattle where they cried because of how beautiful it was and dream of being a rat in the show.
Mike Mendoza

Mike is Chris's leader and cousin. They started to form a close bond after Chris gave his life to Christ in 2019. Since then, Mike has taken Chris in as his disciple, but most of all, his friend. Mike has served as a great example of what a man of God looks like to Chris. Mike taught Chris the value of serving others and to have passion for lost souls. Chris would not be the leader he is today without Mike Mendoza. Fun fact: Chris tries to keep Mike up to date with young Christian artists. He was also a meme in many group chats.
Kylea Parker

Bri and Kylea met towards the end of Bri's junior year as they were planning to be apartment mates but soon after Bri's senior year started, they became quick friends. They love going on boba runs and talking by the waterfront in Kirkland, WA. One of Bri's favorite moments with Kylea is when they roadtripped to Oregon with Ashlyn and they stopped to see the sunset, but Bri forgot her shoes so Kylea piggy backed her so she wouldn't be stuck in the car. Kylea just got married to a good friend of Chris and Bri's and they love going on double dates! Fun fact: Bri was in Kylea's wedding this past May!
Fernando Lopez Mata

Chris met Fernando in 2022 when he hosted Fernando for Act Six. Fernando grew a special place in Chris's heart because he saw the leader inside the quiet Fernando he met in 2022. Their friendship didn't begin to grow until 2023 when Fernando became Chris's resident. In a stressful senior year, Chris was so grateful for his friendship with Fernando as they bonded over ping pong, Act Six, student leadership, and Fern's music. Fernando was like Chris's unofficial roommate because how much time they spent together. Fun Fact: Chris is responsible for the nickname "Fernandeezy" and inspired the name "Fernandeezy media"
Raina Tomiyasu

Raina is Bri's longest friend as they met when they were just 3 years old at Ballet Hawaii--that makes for 20+ years as friends! Raina is forever Bri's ballet bestie and have been through so much together. Bri has Raina to thank for all the fun restaurants and brunch places that she's tried. And although they don't live in the same state anymore, whenever they get together they pick up right where they left off. And that's a special friend!
Uzziah Maldonado

Uzziah is Chris's little cousin from his Mother's side of the family. Uzziah was one of the tough toddlers that wouldn't cry when Chris would play with him. Uzziah was like Chris's little brother before he had Levi. Their bond grew even closer in 2020 when Chris and Uzziah spend countless hours playing video games together during quarantine. Fun Fact: Uzziah once spent the night at Chris's house when he was only 4 years old because thats how much fun they had.
Kaily Trinidad

Kaily and Bri met in the first grade and were best friends through all of elementary, middle school, and high school together. They have so many memories and have laughed so hard. No one has made Bri laugh harder or more often than Kaily. One of Bri's many favorite memories was when she and Kaily would do daily dance videos...didn't last long but it was fun! Kaily and Bri did everything together including being president and vice president of their school's student government during their senior year. Bri would not have survived school without Kaily!
Levi Heredia
Ring Bearer
Levi is the little brother and miniature version of Chris. Born in 2015, Levi was Chris's favorite little human. Chris would try to spend as much time as possible with his little brother and would even change his diapers. Now that Levi is a bit older, Chris has very fun conversations with Levi about Minecraft, Gravity falls, Regular Show, Sonic, and any other animated forms of media. Levi is funny, random, and unhinged just like his older brother. Fun fact: Chris was able to get Levi into all of his favorite childhood shows except for Dragon Ball Z (he tried the hardest on this one).
Isabella Orupabo
Flower Girl
Isabella, or Isa, is so so special to Bri. She is the daughter of Christalyn and Manny Orupabo, who Bri loves very much. The Orupabo's may not be related to Bri's family by blood, but they are basically family. When Christalyn was younger Bri's mom would take care of her and her siblings, and when Bri and her brothers were younger Christalyn would take them out and watch them, and now Bri gets to do that with Isa. It is such a sweet relationship with these families. Bri adores Isa and looks forward to the days when she's back home and playing with Isa :)
