Ultimately, it aims to strike a balance between formal and casual, as well as elegant and comfortable. For an event with this dress code, such as a wedding, men typically wear a collared shirt and tie while women wear a cocktail dress.

Will the entire event be outdoors?

The venue is an outdoor space with a large enclosed pavilion. With that in mind please check the weather for Sandy, Utah prior to the event and dress accordingly. A light jacket, sweater or shall would be a good idea since the temperatures will be cooler in the fall.
