We're getting married!

Cirsten and David met their freshman year of college at University Of New Haven. Both Cirsten and David were living on the fourth floor of their dorm room. It was a few weeks into the semester when Cirsten and her roommates were trying to connect cable to their TV. The girls were having a hard time, and so they decided that the next guy who walked down the hall would have to help them. Next thing they knew, two guys walked past their open door and someone shouted "NOSES" (which is a game where the last person who touches their nose has to do the task that was discussed). Cirsten lost the game of noses and was forced to run down the hall and tap the 6'6" stranger on the shoulder for help with their cable. David connected their cable and the rest is history!

When Cirsten won a couple's photoshoot giveaway on Instagram, David secretly got to work. David started messaging the photographer his secret plan to propose during their shoot. He told the photographer which weekends he had off from work, and made it seem like Cirsten was the one planning this shoot. As the date got closer, David started informing both families of his big plan. During their photoshoot in Boston, they headed over to Acorn Street. The photographer wanted to try and do a pose where David lifted Cirsten up from behind. She had them give it a go, but strong David weirdly could not lift Cirsten up. The photographer wasn't ready to give up, and counted to three to have David try once more. But when David didn't run up to try and lift Cirsten, she turned around to see what the problem was, and there David was, down on one knee. Cirsten screamed, cried, and shouted "YES" and then they were engaged! We can not wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you! See you in Connecticut!
