Is the Corman Carnival actually a wedding?

Answer

The Corman Carnival is a celebration, but not a ceremony! The bride and groom will officially tie the knot in Italy in June. In Ohio, the festivities will kick off like a wedding reception, with a grand entrance from the newlyweds and wedding party. Guests can also look forward to a bouquet toss, a fireworks show, and plenty of fun! Please arrive promptly at 5pm to enjoy all the wedding festivities!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We highly encourage our guests to embrace their creativity with the carnival theme! Whether you prefer to dress up or keep it casual, the choice is yours. Since the event will be entirely outdoors, we recommend bringing a light jacket, as it may get cooler after sunset. The ground may be grassy and/or dirty. The bride and groom will be dressed for the occasion in white, joined by the wedding party in formal wear. Burgundy is the event’s main color. All colors welcome except white - in fact, the more colorful, the better!

What food is provided?

Answer

A BBQ buffet-style dinner will be served, including desserts! Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.

Can I bring my children and/or a plus one?

Answer

Yes! This event has an open RSVP. Please just let us know who is coming so we prepare an appropriate amount of food and drink for all! Children are especially encouraged to attend this celebration.

Please let us know by August 20—one month in advance—if you plan to join us!

Is there parking at the venue?

Our family barn has plenty of parking! Carpooling is always encouraged.
