Corli met Eric's mom, Susan May, at the church she attended in Avon, Connecticut, while she was an au pair. Susan introduced Corli to her family, and when Eric visited her, they invited Corli to join them for church and brunch afterwards. Eric and Corli instantly knew that they had found the person they had been praying for. Eric flew up every second week to visit her, and whenever her schedule allowed, Corli would visit Eric in Florida. They got engaged at Elizabeth Park in Hartford, Connecticut. On 30 August 2023, they got married and have been waiting ever since to share their marriage and vows with all of their family and friends.
