It was at youth camp. With a ring pop. Surrounded by middle schoolers and high schoolers. It was perfect. Camps are a special place in our hearts. We are passionate about loving, serving, discipling, and ministering to children and students. We have felt God’s calling, presence, and leading through our times spent at Cook Canyon each summer the last years. We have seen God change lives. We have heard Him speaking to us and those we are serving. We have built lasting spiritual legacy through God’s work at camps. God called Christa to move to and serve in New Mexico through Fine Arts and Called Camp at Cook Canyon, so it only made sense to take another step of faith together at camp. We love Jesus. We love people. We love each other. Camp was the perfect culmination of all three pieces. (And for those wondering, the real ring did eventually make it to us! However, it is not nearly as delicious.)
Yes!!! While we are asking for help in building a honeymoon fund and housing fund (we’re buying a house, folks!) we do have two registries. The first is through Walmart. Simply search their registries with “Christa Peal” as the name and with New Mexico listed as the state. We also have a specific Disney honeymoon registry that allows you to help purchase different small pieces of our honeymoon to keep our honeymoon’s overall costs lower. Look us up on disneyparksandresorts.honeymoonwishes.com by either of our names.
We anticipate a full house! But we still want you to come. As teachers and ministers, we value our students, their families, our ministry friends, and church family. We most certainly want to extend the invite to as many as possible! We will be having a WV Reception over our Christmas break for friends and family who can't make the trek. I will be starting a Facebook group soon with more details.
