We're Getting Married!

In March of 2020, just before the world came to a screeching halt, Corinne and Jimmy's paths intertwined (#thankshinge). Their first date was a marathon, lasting five hours, during which they both instantly felt at home. Jimmy so much so, that he felt comfortable enough to make Corinne watch the Providence Friars play at a bar with his college buddies. Not exactly first date etiquette, but Corinne loved it. A week later, COVID hit and Corinne moved across the country, but their connection endured. Late-night movie marathons, countless episodes of LOST, and FaceTiming in the dark strengthened their friendship over three long months. Fast forward to June 15th, 2020. Explaining to their families that they "just wanted to get back to the city" (they really just wanted to get back to each other), they reunited in NYC amidst the on-going chaos of the pandemic. The rest moved quickly. They exchanged "I love you"-s a week later (who said it first is highly contested), and it was clear to them from that moment on that this was forever. They've been attached at the hip ever since. Four years later, on June 15th, 2024, they'll affirm their commitment to each other for the rest of their lives. And the proposal? It was a moment of pure spontaneity on The High Line, surrounded by the charm of the West Village and their furry friend, Evie, happily wagging her tail beside them. Jimmy popped the question, catching Corinne completely off guard. Tears flowed freely, hugs ensued. Corinne and Jimmy can't wait to celebrate with you all this summer!
