2020. The height of the COVID-19 pandemic. While this year brought so many uncertainties, we always make sure birthdays are a joyful time. On Friday October 9th, 2020; the night before Corinne's 30th birthday, Corinne thought Brijesh was taking her to Atlantic City for a pre-planned fun filled weekend with friends. Little did she know, a room full of roses, proposal photos, and balloons were waiting for her. As she opened the door to their hotel suite, she was greeted by "Will You Marry Me" written in balloons on the wall, a display of red roses, and various photos of Corinne and Brijesh over the last ten years of their relationship. As she was still in shock, Brijesh took her hand, got down on one knee, and asked for her hand in marriage. She gladly, without hesitation said "YES" A big heart filled thank you goes out to their dear friends Raquel and Jerome who helped to keep that night a surprise!
