Question

How is this different from a northern wedding?

Answer

During the reception there are some key differences: There is no cocktail hour. There is no assigned seating, except for three reserved tables for the bridal party and family. There are no speeches at the reception. There is a buffet instead of a seated dinner. A second line is very customary for the last song. Similar to a conga train you dance around the room in a line.
