Marrying at the Start

Many asked, how do opposites attract? Henry and I are different in so many ways, but we've decided to choose love and expand our horizon to see the world a little bit differently. Henry, a quiet and relaxed person who likes a nice walk found Corine, a burst of energy who loves to run on the local trails. We both made a decision to choose love, which caused our paths to cross in October 2021. Our first date was at Henry's favorite restaurant the "Yard House" in Gaithersburg, MD on a beautiful Sunday evening after church for lunch. We enjoyed our meals then Henry walked me to my car and that was when we displayed faith. With only spending 1hr in each others' presence, we both made a decision to move forward and build on our relationship. At the time, we did not realized a simple decision made in faith a year ago would lead us to marriage in October 2022. We both knew that in order for our relationship to work, God has to be the center of it all. So we prayed together daily and attended church weekly building our faith in God. We've learned to trust God and depend upon his Word for wisdom, knowledge and understanding on how to love each other through it all, good and bad together by each other's side. The Proposal: On this special day of June 4th, 2022, a birthday dinner organized by family and friends at my mom's residence turned out to be a surprised proposal. Upon my arrival, I noticed my quiet and shy Henry holding a sign, got on his knee and asked ''Will You Marry Me?'' and I SAID YES! Henry and I are at the starting line of a lifetime and we cannot wait to celebrate our union with you.
