Turtle Bay Resort, Kahuku (North Shore) Turtle Bay is our top pick for everyone to stay! It offers a variety of rooms, condos, and villas — from budget-friendly options to more luxurious accommodations for our boujee guests. The Kuilima Estate condos are our top recommendation, as they offer a great experience at a relatively affordable price compared to other stays on the North Shore. They come in 1BR, 2BR, and 3BR options, ranging from $300 to $1,000 per night, depending on the size and how recently they've been renovated. The best way to book these condos is through Airbnb or VRBO. The second place to stay in Turtle Bay is the Ocean Villas. These are more upscale and expensive than the Kuilima Estates, but they’re absolutely beautiful and all offer stunning ocean views! A great perk of booking the Ocean Villas is access to a private beach and private pool, available exclusively to guests staying there. These range from studio units to 4BR villas, priced between $900 and $3,200 per night, depending on size. The third and final option within Turtle Bay is the Ritz-Carlton at Turtle Bay Resort. This luxurious choice includes bungalows, suites, and traditional hotel rooms. Staying at the Ritz-Carlton grants you access to exclusive pools, gyms, and lounges that are not available to guests in the other two options. Prices here typically range from around $900 to $2,000 per night.

Backpackers is owned by someone Zachary knows and was actually the very first place he stayed when he visited Oʻahu for the first time in March 2022. It’s a truly unique spot with a wide variety of options, making it a budget traveler’s dream — prices range from $40 to $295 per night. The location is absolutely unbeatable, just 30 steps from Three Tables Beach, and only a 5-minute walk to Waimea Bay and the local grocery store. Zachary had an amazing experience here and speaks incredibly highly of it. It’s also one of the only short-term rental options on the North Shore outside of Turtle Bay. Honolulu delivers a diverse range of lodging experiences—Waikīkī is the bustling heart where mid‑range hotels often run $150–300/night (and luxury beachfront properties climb above $500), with hostel or capsule options from $45 to $120 for budget‑minded travelers; Ala Moana mirrors these prices but offers a calmer, convenient vibe; Kakaʻako features stylish boutique stays at mid‑tier rates; Downtown/Chinatown tends toward affordability with comfortable options in the $120–250 range; Diamond Head brings scenic, boutique serenity for about $170–240/night; and Kahala represents the luxury end of the spectrum—expect to pay $500–800+ per night for exclusive, high‑end resorts. The drive to the venue is about 30-40 minutes
