Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

YES! This is a Semi-Formal Cocktail Attire, "black only", wedding. We ask our guests to please respect our request and arrive wearing black. If the examples below do not make sense please text or call Corina for clarification :) 445-226-5027 Google “Black Semi Formal Cocktail Attire” for examples and see below for further explanation: •Ladies -A long black dress (not a heavy gown) either full length or "midi", something you may wear to brunch, but in the color black •Gentleman - Long sleeves, black button down, or nice white or black business casual shirt with a black sport jacket. Long black pants. Tie recommended, but not required. *With the Florida heat, we know guests will be very warm. Ladies, spaghetti straps are fine as long as it is tasteful. Midi length is recommended. Gentleman, once cocktail hour begins, jackets may come off, and collars can be unbuttoned. Once it's time to dance, the dress code goes out the window, and dance your heart away. We all know and can expect Greg to be shirtless at some point. *see "what will the weather be like" below

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we have decided to keep our celebration an adults-only event. Thank you for understanding.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on the invitation attend as we have planned this date to a set amount of guests and are not able to make changes.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue will have attendants to help you park or direct your uber/lyft and lead you to the welcome area.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

While we have a lot of guests coming from the state of Florida, we do realize others may have to fly and make hotel accommodations. See below a two hotels in Fort Myers and their distance from the venue: -Luminary Hotel -Autograph Collection (Marriot) - 20 min drive 2200 Edwards Drive Fort Myers, FL 33901 *This is where the wedding party will be staying -Hilton Garden Inn - Fort Myers - 30 minute drive 12600 University Drive Fort Myers, FL 33907

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We are expecting a high of ~88 degrees. With this in mind, our ceremony will be in the full sun (hand held fans and parasols will be available); we will then move to cocktail hour under the shaded trees, and then head over to the reception which will be shaded for dinner. Dance floor is not shaded, but we are working on integrating some fans if possible. Please keep all of this in mind as you plan your outfits.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Short answer, no. We love everyone’s generosity, but we also want to focus more on making memories together rather than acquiring material items. We have a “registry” tab, and ask that anything you’d like to gift us gets donated to an activity you choose.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are not providing transportation, outside of the wedding party, as we are allowing guests to make their own travel arrangements and encouraging you to make this trip a vacation because Florida in April is beautiful!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Food allergies can be noted when you RSVP. We ask that you only note food allergies, and not any personal diets as we have set, plated menu options.

Is there an AFTER-PARTY?

Answer

Yes! The venue has a hard stop at 10pm, but the party isn't over!! The bride and groom will be heading to downtown Fort Myers after the reception ends. "Where" is TBD, and may not be decided until day of . You are NOT required to attend, but the more the merrier, and we would love to have you join us at our first outing as Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

-This will be a no-phone CEREMONY. We have picked out a great photographer, videographer, and will also have content creators capturing our special day. Our planner and vendors will remind everyone day of, but we wanted to let everyone know ahead of time that we ask for all phones to be silent and put away during the ceremony itself. 30 minutes without your phone? Yes, you can do it! -La Casa Toscana is an outside only event, so please see recommendations above on what to wear so you are comfortable. -The seats for the ceremony will be on grass, but everywhere else there are pavers or hard surfaces to stand on *just wanted to let the ladies who are wearing heels know so you can buy "grass heel protectors" if you would like for the ceremony
