My right hand, my sissy, my best friend since as long as I can remember. Lore and I are only 13 months apart and have been inseparable since day one. We grew up with the same group of friends, have experienced life side by side, have been each other’s confidant and our bond just keeps getting stronger as we get older. Lore will laugh at anything and everything and I mean everything… She made me feel like the greatest comedian when we were growing up. It was just a matter of time that I realized it was not me but instead her ability to find laughter in any situation. Thanks to her, I have learned to be an older sister and now an aunt to our little love, Samuel. I love you sissy <

Sure, having a brother made it easy to choose my best man. But having a younger brother you can look up to and share the same interests throughout life is pretty nifty. He's a little too serious most of the time but he's tolerable. A young video game prodigy turned business man and husband, we've played lacrosse together and against each other. My original ride or die.

The third part and the one who completes the Rodriguez sisters’ triangle. She is the youngest but by far the most genuine, sassy, loving, caring, funny person in our trio. At first, she tried to fit in with her older sisters but because of the age difference (6 yrs.) she was not very welcomed (sorry chichi!) but as we all grew up we naturally became inseparable… and yes, we’re obsessed with each other! Even though we are miles away, our friendship just keeps getting better! I am so lucky to have these two by my side and could not imagine it any other way.

I'm fortunate to have a close group of ride or die betches and this man is one of them. Much to his mother's dismay, he was born with 1 name and ended up with many. Whether it be a last minute adventure to a shady Detroit bar, turned all nighter, or a middle of the weekday 18 holes, Dmac does not disappoint. He's a bar star, he's a business man, he has a life long seat at the table.

Ok, so I lied when I said I only had two sisters… Cata is the sister life gave me. We met in 8th grade when she transferred to my Middle School. We immediately hit it off or as we like to call it, it was love at first sight. From endless sleepovers, to being each other’s homecoming/prom dates, to travelling the world, to being there for each other when we needed it the most. She has been a constant in my life and I am forever grateful for her because I am actually not sure what my life would be without her. Also, shout out to her entire family! The Davalos are and will always be my second family.

Every group of close friends has many personalities and roles. It is no different in ours. SparJ is typically a staunch voice of reason and in the top 2 for practicality. We've shared the weak side in the glory days and late night dance parties by ourselves. He's been there for me in tough times and I've been there to arguably save his life. LFG!!

My older cousin, the girl I used to look up to growing up. Every Sunday when we lived in Venezuela, we used to go to our grandparents’ house and I still remember how excited I would be because I got to hang out with my cool cousin. Those were the days but thankfully, when the first sibling moved to the US every other member of the family decided to follow suit. We are extremely lucky that 99% of our family lives in Florida (I am the other 1%) and still get to spend weekends and holidays together. Yes, we have a very close family and our friendship is not any different. We have each other’s back and I know I can always count on her.

Although we've only ever called him David when he isn't listening, I figured I'd appease his lovely wife. DC is a large reason for the development of our groups friendship from the beginning as 880 Hidden Pine was the go to venue for socializing in HS. With work ethic only surpassed by histories greats, DC brings quite a bit to the table. He's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get, but it's going to be exactly what the situation warrants. Fitting of an Army Ranger, DC leads the way for memorable times.

We met in Physics class in 10th grade of HS. At first, she came off as “too cool for school” a typical Vane move; but as we started chatting, her outer shell cracked and we realized how much we had in common. Our friendship began when we started playing tennis after school twice a week and it has only gotten stronger since. Out of our group of girlfriends, she is the one who is most likely to drop anything she is doing to help me, stay on the phone with me for hours and bring me down to my senses. She is also the one who is most likely to make a decision we all disagree on but that is why we love her. She brings a different perspective and has taught me a lot in these last 12 yrs.

At one point in time, Monte and I were the only ones in town for years and spent more days than not, together. Mostly the younger 20's obligatory bar scene but also family cookouts and inter-mural football Domination with a capital D. I can always count on him to instigate my mom into guilt tripping me for some reason or another and I was going to put a shameless Chevy plug in here but those of you who know Monte, know the deal. Soooo, are you coming?

Not sure how I can begin to describe Alexa. Let’s just say she is full of energy, can brighten any room and is one of the most fun friends to hang out with. It truly is impossible to have a bad time when she is around. We first met in 10th grade at a soccer game but did not become as close until she became Cata’s neighbor. Yup, we have all been inseparable 10+ yrs ago. Lucky me! We became even closer after college when it seemed like we were both living the same life experiences at the same time and were there to support each other every step of the way. I am so excited we both finally met the loves of our lives and are about to enjoy the greatest adventure of our times!

In another life, Fisher would have at the very least been a decent comedian. The wittiest of the crew, his subtle, and other times not so subtle jokes are usually well received. He's the only one of our group that has managed to knock me out which I'll probably never live down but it makes for a good story. If you like 80's dance moves and laughing until your abs burn, Fisher will not disappoint. Shout-tout to his amazing wife who knows more OG rap lyrics than anyone I know. Respect.

I owe a lot to this young lady. She was my recruiter at Quicken Loans, a place that has changed my life in so many ways, and then the matchmaker that made this all happen. She introduced me to Chris and for that, I will forever be grateful. Maria has been like a sister to me here in Michigan. Her and her family brought me under their wing when I first moved to Michigan and didn’t know anyone. Rockwell Thomas Gust IV. This guy is a real humdinger. Inherently and frustratingly good at every sport, Rocky keeps everyone on their toes in every situation. Our friendship is spontaneous, we've shared deep conversations and hilarious laughs like when the Russian guy did a belly flop into Lake Superior while trying to show us his diving skills. Rocky, yes it's open bar and yes you can eat all you want!

When I met Chris I knew how important all his boys were to him, like brothers. So meeting all of them was clearly a big deal to me. Especially meeting their significant others because we all know meeting girls is not always easy but that was not the case with Maggie and Bec. They were both so welcoming from the beginning and I am forever grateful for that. I feel like I need to write about both of them together because we truly are a trio… we have our own text/Snapchat/ Instagram group that we talk on daily and we hang out pretty much every weekend. Our love for our boys led us to each other but our commonality made our friendship stick and grow, WOO!!! Cheers to the best years ahead and the fun-filled memories we are about to experience with our little family!

Conti and I have been friends since high school as well only he didn't go to our high school officially. Not sure how he graduated from UofD because most of his time was spent there with us. Conti is an all around good dude, he has my back in any situation and he's been there when I need advice. It gives me joy to frustrate him in most situations but that's what best friends are for. His dance moves rival that of my own which isn't lightly said. Unfortunately, Conti will be deployed overseas and will most likely not be able to make the wedding but he will be there in spirit, standing with his closest friends.

Cub, Maria’s beautiful daughter, has been part of both of our lives for the last 6 yrs even before Chris and I met. CT and Maria go way back to their High School days and I've known Maria since 2013. We both share memories with Cub since she was a tiny baby and I've had the privilege to see her grow into the smart and funny little lady that she is. When the day finally came for Chris and I to meet, it was on a double date with Cub and Maria. She has been there since the very beginning of our relationship, which is why we could not imagine having any other girl be our flower girl. Uncle Chris and Auntie Corina love you so much!

T Money, T Bird, T, he goes by many names but this original has been there since inception. This may come to a shock but T never played football despite his Adonis like physique but he did kill it on the soccer field. Our little spider monkey, T typically comes bearing gifts of Jack Daniels when we have the privilege of convincing him to come hang out and I'm honored to have him stand with me. He'll be the one that skipped leg day.

Our first nephew, our sunshine, the apple of our eyes, our ring bearer. Samu for sure has Uncle Chris and I wrapped around his fingers. It is hard not to, he is simply the happiest baby, always laughing, smiling, and in the best mood (just like his momma). Although, he will not remember walking down the aisle on our big day, he sure will be one of the highlights for Chris and me.
