We’re getting married!!

Just two weeks after moving across the country to Los Angeles, Cori found herself on the rooftop of Grandmaster Recorders—on a setup date with Josh. The matchmaker? Roxy, Josh’s coworker and Cori’s college roommate from Syracuse University. The moment Roxy heard Cori was heading to LA, she couldn’t stop raving to each of them about the other: her “nice Jewish coworker” Josh and her “outgoing and funny roommate” Cori. Eager to embrace all the possibilities of her new city, Cori agreed to the date with little more than a glowing recommendation and a very blurry LinkedIn headshot. The two quickly bonded over their shared East Coast roots and mutual love of music and entertainment. Cori was definitely into Josh… Josh gave it a second date. From there, their love began to blossom. Sushi dinners turned into cozy Italian cooking nights at home, which led to beachy weekends in Laguna. And then one evening, after a very romantic dinner at their favorite spot, they finally said “I love you.” Through new jobs, an MBA program, and cross-country holidays with family, Cori and Josh have been each other’s biggest supporters. Their shared love of family, friends, and food has been the heart of their relationship—and brings us to this exciting moment.
