FAQs

Question

Is the event indoors or outdoors? What’s the weather like?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors, though the reception area will be covered. In the unlikely event of severe weather, we’ll have an indoor option available. Early October in Reno usually brings mild, sunny days and chilly nights. Daytime highs are typically in the upper 60s to low 70s, while nighttime lows dip into the upper 30s to low 40s.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We want our guests to feel comfortable and like themselves! That said, the dress code is cocktail attire—no jeans, please. Since fall evenings in Reno can get chilly, layering is a great idea.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Absolutely! We love having little ones join the celebration. There will be a small activity table for kids to enjoy if they get bored. If your child will be eating, please include them in your RSVP so we have an accurate count.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please check your invitation. If there’s space, “and guest” will be included on your invite and RSVP card.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that RSVPs are due by August 21, 2026. Details are on your invitation, but if you lose it or need assistance, reach out to Cori or Charlie—we’ve got you!

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! Details on parking will be provided closer to the wedding date to make sure it’s as easy as possible for everyone.

Question

Are there room blocks?

Answer

We’ve reserved blocks at the J Resort for our traveling guests. Reno also offers plenty of other accommodations, from casinos and hotels to Airbnbs—options are plentiful!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Signature cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks—all complimentary. A tip jar will be available for the bartender.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! Share your photos on social media using #RobbinsOurHearts so we can see all the fun moments you capture.

Question

I’m from out of town. What should I do in Reno during the weekend?

Answer

Reno has so much to offer! We personally recommend making the short drive (about an hour) to the breathtaking Lake Tahoe. Beyond that, the city is full of great restaurants, casinos, and unique spots to explore.

Question

I have more questions about your wedding. Who can I contact?

Answer

You can always reach out to Cori or Charlie. However, if your question comes up within a week of the wedding, please contact our Matron of Honor, Calli Wilsey at 775-771-1874, since Cori will likely be in full-on wedding-anxiety mode.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

If you’d like to celebrate with a gift, we’ve chosen to keep things simple with a honeymoon fund through our wedding website. Any contribution, big or small, will help us create unforgettable memories as we begin this next chapter together. Thank you for your love and support!
