Question

Wedding day attire

Answer

Medieval wedding attire

Question

Should I rent a car or take the train?

Answer

If traveling with a few people, we highly recommend renting a car. This will make things less stressful and you will have to rely less on the French transportation system. Although they do warn us ahead of time, public transport strikes are common in France! There is plenty of room for parking at our venue. If traveling alone, taking the train will be easier. Please be in contact with us along the way. The earlier you let us know, the better. This way we can coordinate with other guests who are taking the train as well.

Question

Do they speak English where we're going?

Answer

We will be in a small town 2.5 hours away from Paris. It is less likely that English will be spoken by those around you. You will also meet a lot of Corinne's French family who only speak French. This will be great!

Question

What should I check with my hotel before reserving?

Answer

We encourage you to contact your hotel as soon as possible and verify check-in and out times. We also recommend asking about amenities, such as a parking space. This is France, and air conditioning is not everywhere. That being said, most buildings are made of stone, which retains a cool temperature.
