We’re getting married!!

Tierra and Corey met as teenagers while working at Foot Locker in Golden East Crossing Mall, Rocky Mount, NC in 2009. They went on several dates and became great friends. Post high-school graduations, life took them in two different directions. In 2019 their friendship rekindled and Corey asked Tierra on another date. Tierra was hesitant, but agreed to a date only if their date was at church. Corey used some of his vacation time at work so that he could have a Sunday off to go to church with Tierra. Corey drove from Virginia (where he was living at the time) to North Carolina to make the 10am church service at World Over Comers Christian Church. He arrived early with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. They enjoyed the church service together, then went out to lunch at a Japanese Restaurant, Umami. After lunch Tierra and Corey went on a walk at Duke Gardens and had a photoshoot! If you know Corey and Tierra you know that they both love photography! Their first date the second time around, was nothing shy of amazing! Fast forward to Tierra’s favorite day of the year, her birthday 11/22/2021, Corey got down on one knee and proposed to Tierra in Charlotte, NC! The rest of their love story has been history!
