Matron of Honor
Steph and Tara have been best friends since Steph was dressed as Cinderella on Halloween circa 1996 and trick-or-treated at Tara's house. The only thing that really could come between these two was when Steph traded Yugioh cards on the school bus with someone else in fifth grade. Other than that, the two have been inseparable! From Atlantic City trips, to Steph visiting Tara at Temple U and in D.C. when she interned there, to becoming each other's maid/ matron of honor, to their mom's becoming close friends too, they are a lucky pair! If you have five minutes, ask them to recite their long handshake that they made when they were kids and still remember!
Best Man
As Corey's brother, the two have shared countless life experiences together- from spending summers together at Camp Echo, to family vacations throughout their childhood, to seeing Rome and Florence together, and so, so many more. Their bond has grown into a true friendship beyond their brotherhood. Corey treasures the times when Jake treks into the city to hang with his big brother and sister, and looks forward to many more fun times together as their bond grows over the years. When it comes to choosing a Best Man, there wasn't a second thought about it- Corey can't wait to have his little brother standing by his side.
Bridesmaid
Corey introduced Tara and Jordyn over a Lebanese meal in the city, where they first discovered their love of sharing food together, which marked the beginning of endless searching for yummy shared food opportunities- mostly of sushi and Mediterranean variety. The two only got closer when Tara and Corey moved to LIC, and Tara and Jordyn started going to F45 workout classes together. Now, Tara can't wait to finally get to call Jordyn her sister and be able to make more memories together in the future.
Groomsman
Corey actually became friend's with Andrews twin brother Will first, but he found out pretty quickly that if you are involved with one Desco, you are almost automatically stuck with the other. Since then, Corey and Andrew have shared memorable trips to Boston, Chicago, Milwaukee, Philly, and Baltimore, and those just scratch the surface of their friendship. Andrew has been invaluable to Corey and his family, whether helping run Corey run the festivities for his engagement to Tara, hiring Corey's brother Jake at Picquet Lane, or being the prop that Corey and Tara have used any time they try to spring a surprise on each other.
Bridesmaid
Meeting on Phi Sigma Sigma bid day on line to be revealed to the sisters marked the start of Tara and Mere's shenanigans, and they haven't stopped since. While the two obsess over dogs, Tik Toks, Trader Joe's, and cooking, their friendship and bond runs deep. Mere and Sam were there for Tara's grandma's shiva, visited Tara in White Plains when she first moved to New York, and kindly host Tara and Corey whenever they come to Philly. Tara even texted Mere in a panic when she thought Corey may be proposing, but of course Mere was in on the secret and left Tara to figure it out for herself! Tara was honored to stand by Mere's side as her bridesmaid and cannot wait to have Mere do the same!
Groomsman
Corey's oldest friend, the two have shared more laughs, more summer days by the La Rosa family pool, more nights at Citi Field, than most could imagine. Corey spent Stephen's birthday with him watching the Mets (finally) throw a no-hitter, and the two have enjoyed time together at places ranging from Albany to Hamilton, Astoria to Philadelphia, after-prom in the Hamptons, a bachelor party in Pittsburgh, and a million other places in between. A 20 year friendship that has only kept growing.
Bridesmaid
Tara and Jess met as freshmen at Temple University, when they were in the Phi Sig new member class together. They went out together soon after they met to take on the frats, but their friendship really started when they were at the library for Phi Sig study hours and spent the whole time taking pictures on Tara's computer with weird, distorted filters and posted them on Facebook. They got passive aggressively called out at their Phi Sig meeting since they didn't take study hours seriously enough, and that was the beginning of a friendship with endless laughs. Corey knows if Tara says she is talking to Jess on the phone that he needs to occupy himself for two hours because they discuss every detail of their lives with each other. Tara cannot wait to have Jess by her side on 10/23/22!
Groomsman
Troy and Corey met as soon as they moved into the dorms in Albany, living across the hall from each other, and a night out during their entire time at school was simply never not spent together. More memories were made in 4 years between the two than most friends will share in a lifetime, with countless more nights that couldn't possibly be remembered. The good times together only continued after college, with the two spending weekend nights together in NYC, taking trips down to Jacksonville for Florida football, joining random NYC parades (PR day parade is a personal favorite of Troy's), brunching together, and so much more.
Bridesmaid
"They were freshmen once, young and scared and new, trying to find their place, there at Temple U. Then they met Phi Sig, and they knew right then, those boring lonely nights, would never be again." Their bond has only grown closer since college, and the memories are ones to last a lifetime. From Lisa's bachelorette party to AC trips, there is always a good time in store when they get together with their "Meow Pack." Not to mention that they love how much Dylan, Lisa's husband, and Corey get along- those two are dangerous together! Tara was honored to be Lisa's bridesmaid and will never forget the joy she felt when Lisa asked her to be one, and Tara can't wait to have Lisa return the favor!
Groomsman
One of Corey's closest friends, the two are only rivals when it comes to Fantasy Football (Corey is better). Corey and Mike started out as AEPi brothers in Albany, and their friendship only grew from there, with Corey spending many nights crashed on the couch of Mike's unofficial AEPi apartment on Gold Street in the city. Many years, fun nights, and several Levylands later, Corey can't wait to have Mike share in his special day.
Bridesmaid
Mary and Tara met in theater class in tenth grade and have been besties ever since. From Titan football games to Poconos trips, to seeing Mary when she lived in Chicago, to living the dream when both of them lived in NYC and could get dinners together, to staying close now with Mary in PA and Tara in NYC, Tara always knows Mary is a friend she can count on. It is so special that the two have remained so close for 12+ years and their friendship is invaluable! Tara is so happy Mary will be right next to her on her big day.
Groomsman
The friendship started in Earth Science class, when Will admired Corey's Notre Dame hat and pleaded with him to buy it from him. Who could have guessed that over 15 years later, the friendship between the two would be as close as ever? The first person to volunteer himself as a client when Corey started doing taxes with his Dad, Corey has been witness to some of Will's important life events, from being a groomsman at his wedding to meeting his baby daughter the week she was born, and Corey can't wait for Will to be able take part similarly in Corey's milestones to come.
Bridesmaid
Tara and Kate met at URJ Kutz Camp in the summer of 2010 when their friend told them they would be friends and had to meet. At first, Tara thought Kate was too cool for her because she was wearing sunglasses and her hair was blowing in the wind like a movie star, but it soon became clear that their personalities would mesh perfectly. The two were lifeguards together in the summer of 2011 at camp, and Tara ran straight into Kate's arms when Tara accidentally let a kid fall into the lake (it was the shallow end, it's okay). Since the two moved to NYC, they have only gotten closer, going to Mets games, introducing Kate to Corey's friends, being bridesmaids in Joey's wedding, and everything in between. Tara is so grateful for their friendship and is ecstatic to be together on wedding day!
Groomsman
Though Corey is the older cousin, he feels lucky to always have Cody to (literally) look up to. They share a love of both beer and sports, as hard as it may be for Corey to tolerate Cody's New England Patriots fandom. While family ties them together, their relationship has grown into a close friendship, from Cody making office visits to come do his taxes, to spending a couples weekend together in the Hamptons with Cody's girlfriend Bari, who Corey and Tara can't wait to have join the family (any time now, Cody).
Bridesmaid
Temple University's 1300 dorm brought these two together, but their friendship really started when they studied abroad together in London. From fall break in Barcelona, Venice, and Rome, to Oktoberfest in Munich, they have memories to truly last a lifetime. When both of them moved to NYC after college, Tara appreciated having such a dear friend to be near while navigating a new city. Now, Alex lives in Texas, but their friendship has only grown closer, with lengthy FaceTimes/ phone calls and coaching each other through all the feels. Alex has truly been there for Tara through everything and remains such a steady, reliable friend. Tara can't wait to ugly cry together at the wedding, like they did on FaceTime when Tara asked Alex to be a bridesmaid!
Groomsman
"Cousin" doesn't truly do justice to the relationship that Corey and Hunter share. The person who Corey can commiserate with most over the shared misery of their Jets fandom, seldom does a couple of days pass without a text, a Facetime call, an Instagram DM, etc. between the two, especially during fantasy football season. Ten and a half years may separate the two in age, but they share an unbreakable, brotherly bond that Corey will always cherish.
Bridesmaid
Joey and Tara (or Lara as Joey likes to call her) met at URJ Kutz Camp in the summer of 2010. The two took Hebrew Ulpan together, then moved onto calling each other every week for a period of time in college to share their crazy college stories. They grew even closer when they staffed retreats at camp during the year for Tara's old job, and when Joey moved to Long Island for good, you could say the rest is history. Whether they're watching Dancing With The Stars, seeking out fun shows/ events to go to, spending summers on the boat, or being there for the big simchas in each other's lives, Tara knows Joey is someone she can always have fun with and count on.
Groomsman
Corey's go-to source for all things Marvel, he loves being able to call his cousin at any time of the day or night, not knowing what he might get at the other end- Harris may be in the shower, brushing his teeth, feasting on Chick-Fil-A, out at a Penn State frat party- one never knows. Corey is lucky to consider Harris another little brother to him, and is excited to have him up by his side on his wedding day.
Bridesmaid
If you've seen Tara's Instagram story involving food and she isn't with Corey or Jordyn, there's a good chance she's with Paige! Tara and Paige share a deep love of food- so much so that Paige and Tara went out to a 7-course pasta dinner the night before Tara's engagement! The two met in their Jewish youth group, NFTY, some 13 years back and have been close ever since. They love living in NYC so they can go to Jewish events together, explore the food scene and different boroughs! Whether they're hanging out in Bucks County, NYC, Atlantic City/ Margate, or anywhere else, their friendship has stood the test of time.
Groomsman
The other half of Corey's really tall twin cousins, Brett spent his childhood summers at Camp Echo with his brother, Cody, and the Rockowers, and Corey remembers how lucky he felt to have his cousins along with him at camp each summer. Although Brett may live the furthest away of all of the groomsmen, there is never a family get together in which there is not the same closeness as ever. Corey and Tara are so excited for Brett to tie the knot with his fiancé, Haley, in 2023.
