Years before starting their journey together, they both shared similar friend groups that were all involved in the local music scene. Over the years, they saw each other in passing, but always wondered from afar. Finally in the late winter of 2015, Nicole broke the silence and reached out. Quickly their love story began. Corey would bring Nicole coffee at work, and Nicole would bring Corey his favorite snacks during his lunch breaks. The rest is history. From their first apartments, adopting Mulder, moving away, moving back, and adopting Dobby. Now they are here.... getting married and embarking on their next journey together hopefully with you as their witness.

It was their first big vacation together, and Corey's first time ever being on a airplane. They traveled across the US to sunny California. Together they went to Temecula to celebrate another love story, visited friends in San Diego, spent a magical day in Disney, and stayed with family in Los Angeles. However, nothing could top what Corey had in store for them. On this special day, they went to dinner with family and then drove to Santa Monica Pier to enjoy a stroll. They walked the pier, and Corey was the most nervous he has ever been. Finally in front of the ferris wheel, Corey stopped Nicole and asked her to be his wife. Of course her response was .... "I think I am going to throw up!" quickly followed by "Are you kidding me?" finally she said "YES!"
