It’s official…we’re getting married!

Corey Ryan Rutchland proposed to Mariana Gimena Lopez on January 26th, 2024 at Shipwreck Beach Cliffside in Kauai, HI. White rose petals were scattered around the cliffside to create a romantic atmosphere, and a table was set up with one of Corey & Mariana's favorite wines shared in an iced bucket. As it was Mariana’s birthday trip, she had mentioned to Corey about having dinner at the beautiful Tidepools restaurant, which consequently was located right near the Shipwreck beach. Corey & Mariana hiked up to the cliff side, where Mariana eventually saw the white roses and turned around to Corey kneeling on one knee with the ring box opened and in hand. Corey wrote a beautiful letter which he recorded in his pocket as he spoke it to Mariana and asked her to marry him. The two celebrated with wine and an amazing dinner at the Tidepools restaurant to end the magical night.
