No, not if they weren't listed on your invitation. We have made the choice to keep our wedding pretty intimate, and unfortunately that means there are a lot of friends and family who won't be there on our wedding day. I hope you can understand that it's nothing personal, and respect our wishes to keep our sacred event small.
The celebration will begin at 6:30 p.m on April 11. We kindly ask guests to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to grab a glass of bubbly and start mingling.
I mean, we’re not uptight or picky about what you wear to our wedding. We hope that you will opt to wear clothes first and foremost. If we had to pick though, the attire would be something garden party wedding-y. That makes sense right?
Parking on-site. Local PD will be directing traffic on-site.
The ceremony will be in the outdoor courtyard. We will keep the ceremony short and romantic, and the party will continue inside after.
We don't like the way digital cameras and camera phones have encouraged the sense that we need to 'capture' everything in order for it feel complete. We'd rather people simply watched and clapped and smiled and cried — and really listened and remembered, not from the photos they downloaded onto their computers, but from their own memories. We want you to be able to really enjoy our wedding, feeling truly present and in the moment with us. We've hired an amazing wedding photographer who will be capturing the way the wedding looks — and we're inviting each of you to sit back, relax, and just enjoy how the wedding feels. We're respectfully asking that everyone consider leaving all cameras and cell phones off during the ceremony. Feel free to break out the phones and cameras after the ceremony! But leave the iPads at home! They are tacky in wedding photos!
