Well that's a great question, glad you asked! Slacks and ties or a button down with blazer are encouraged for men and your favorite cocktail summer dress for the fashion conscious ladies. If you're feeling really jazzed up, cowboy boots and Kentucky Derby headwear or accessories are always welcome. Ladies may want to bring sandals or flat bottom shoes as back ups to high heels in case of soft ground or cold night temps.
If you're planning on driving to the ceremony or reception, there will be available parking at the ceremony site along with overflow parking on Haas Road adjacent to the pond. For our guests requiring handicap or special access there will be marked parking closer to the venue. We just ask that you please do not park on Greenwood Road.
We plan to have most of the bases covered, but a few things to consider. As weather changes drastically in Michigan, be sure to bring clothing layers and warming outerwear for the evening bonfire and late night shenanigans. We'll be supplying water, soda, beer and wine, but you're also welcome to bring any booze or mixers that might make your evening more complete...we just ask you to be responsible especially if you're driving.
Really? Just kidding. For any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to the bride and groom's parents. Linda Foster (231-347-1905), Diane Anderson (313-414-1125) and Diane Spearman (313-204-1344).
