After a chance encounter at The Brahmin in Downtown Boston, Corey asked Lauren on their first date a few weeks later – dinner and a Parquet Courts show. Corey had the perfect blend of dad jokes and romance to sweep Lauren off of her feet. They stayed up until the wee hours of the morning talking of a mutual love for travel. Not one for talking without action, Lauren convinced Corey to pull the trigger on booking a trip across the world then and there. A month later, they took off to Greece —both knowing that this adventure would set the stage for what was to come… would Corey turn out to be a crazed killer? …would Lauren’s impulsiveness get them into trouble? …would Corey’s dad jokes get less charming? …or would the trip be a success, setting the foundation for something great? After a week of cliff diving, ATV-ing and Gyros, they fell in love with the island and each other.
