The weather is hot and the elevation is high! Remember to wear sunscreen and drink lots of water. Colorado Springs' climate is semi-arid: relatively dry and warm summers. Please remember to keep the higher elevation in mind when exercising, hiking and especially when consuming alcohol.
Please plan to be in the main lobby of Cheyenne Mountain Resort by 4:00pm. Shuttles will be provided and running for all guests, escorting everyone down to the Country Club of Colorado where the ceremony will be held. An early arrival is encouraged, to be sure there is ample time to get all guests down to the ceremony space (ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm.) If you do arrive earlier, there is a coffee shop near the front entrance, a lobby bar & lounge, as well as a large outdoor deck overlooking the property and views of Cheyenne Mountain.
Beautiful, with stunning views and great amenities. Although the property is quite spread out, shuttles are provided before and after the ceremony, so no intense walking will be required. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will both be held outdoors, the reception will be held indoors.
First and foremost, we love your kids, we hope to see them around the resort during the weekend. That being said, we have made the decision to keep our wedding an adults-only (21+) event. The resort, and area in general, are family-friendly with many kid-approved activities. Please feel welcome to bring your kiddos along with you for a weekend of fun, all the while keeping in mind that arrangements will need to be made for the evening of the wedding. As local residents, we are happy to help with recommendations! We appreciate your understanding and look forward to spending time with all of you!
Formal dress attire is encouraged. Summer colors, patterns and fabrics are welcome! For ladies wearing heels, we recommend a thicker heel for the ceremony, as it will be taking place on the golf course's practice green (short, soft grass.)
Kindly respond "yes" or "no" for your attendance by July 8th. RSVPs are to be completed via this website; through the RSVP tab above, or through the RSVP tab on the home page, but if you have any trouble with this, please don't hesitate to reach out to the bride and/or groom for assistance. If we don't hear from you by this date, we will (sadly) note your invitation as "declined." Plus Ones... Your RSVP will specify your partner's name or "Guest" for plus ones that we're able to accommodate.
There is self-parking and valet parking (for an additional cost) right outside the front entrance of Cheyenne Mountain Resort. If you'll be staying at the resort, there is dedicated guest parking in front of each of the guest room buildings. Of course, if you live in the area or are staying elsewhere, we recommend Uber or Lyft to ensure you have the best time with no worry about having a safe ride back.
