What should we wear?

Answer

Snazzy casual. We recommend closed-toed shoes and/or an extra pair of walking shoes due to the terrain. There are several inclines, all of which are very steep, and most are not paved. Dress accordingly, as the weather may be in the 40s-60s and the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces will all be outdoors; jackets are strongly encouraged.

We will have beer, wine, two specialty cocktails, a variety of sodas, and water available.

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

In October, the average day's weather consists of daytime highs in the low 70s, with average evening temperatures in the 40s, then dropping into the 30s in the early morning hours. Although mountain weather is very unpredictable and can change within a short period of time, so we recommend checking your weather apps for Topton, NC before you pack your bags!

Is there parking at the venue?

There are approximately 50 parking spaces next to the venue. Parking is free of charge.

What is the nearest airport?

Answer

Our venue is just about in the middle of two airports: Atlanta, GA, and Asheville, NC. Both airports are approximately two to three hours away. The roads are open in NC. *IMPORTANT* You will lose all cell service from about 30 minutes out from the venue. If you set your maps and do NOT TOUCH IT, it will continue to take you to the venue without the cell service. Make sure your devices are charged and any phone calls or texts are sent before you get to the cut off point!
