General Tips

The Barn at Liberty Farms (where we're getting married) is in Ghent, NY. It's about a 2.5 hour drive or train ride from NYC. We know this may be a bit of a hike for some people, so please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about traveling so we can try to help out.

Shuttles to and from the Barn

Transportation to and from the venue will be provided for those staying in the town of Hudson or at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in East Greenbush, NY (where we've reserved a hotel block). While Uber has made its way up to the Hudson Valley, we hear it's not 100% reliable (e.g., longer wait times, limited availability), so please take advantage of these shuttles or consider calling an old school cab!

Train

Amtrak (Hudson Station)

Amtrak is a great way to get to the area if you don't have a car. You can take the train to Hudson Station, which is about 2 hours from NYC. The area also has Uber and Lyft, and we will have buses from a few different places to the wedding itself, so you shouldn't need a car while you're in town either!

Driving

Driving from NYC to Hudson takes between 2-2.5 hours, and is quite a beautiful drive!
