What a wild ride it’s been since the night we got engaged. Even then, we knew we would be together for as long as life would allow. Along the way, we’ve grown and discovered parts of each other that many people never get to see in their life partner. Through it all, we’ve always put love at the forefront. The first few years were a whirlwind of life events. For more than a year, during Corey’s deployment, calls and messages were our only way of staying connected. From there, we found ourselves quarantined while expecting our firstborn, shutting out the world to keep our little family safe. Soon after, we met an entirely new version of each other—the parenting edition. As we’ve raised our two amazing children, we’ve learned what it truly means to nurture our love while parenting and striving to grow in our respective careers. Some days feel like we’re tagging each other in and out of parenting duties, but through it all, our love has remained steady and strong. We have so much love for each other and for every one of you reading this short love story. We cannot wait to celebrate our love with you!
