We met in kindergarten while running around the playground. Never did we ever expect to go to school together our entire lives secretly crushing on each other and never saying a word about it. Six months after we graduated high school we had an actual conversation (the flirting kind) and that was it! We loved each other and knew we would spend the rest of our lives being best friends.

It was my birthday and earlier in the day we went to Chinese Wok to get lunch. I asked Corey if he was going to propose tonight, obviously he said no but he was SOOOO convincing. He should have won an Oscar. He looked at me like I was crazy, told me he didn't even have a ring and that he didn't understand why I would ask him that. Obviously ... I cried. But he pulled through later that night after celebrating my birthday at our favorite restaurant! He took me home and had a beautiful arbor, with lights, candles and rose petals in the yard and popped the question! We celebrated with champagne and it was honestly one of the best nights ever.
