Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family supporting us on our big day!

Justin Young

Best Man

I have known Justin for as long as I can remember. He is one of the most caring and thoughtful people you could meet, and I have the wonderful privilege of calling him my brother. He is the one most responsible for my amazing sense of humor, excellent taste in music, and borderline overly analytical and philosophical thinking about movies, books, music, and plenty of other things art related. If you get us in a room together, we are bound to start making jokes and laughing uncontrollably - even if we are the only ones who think they are funny. He has been the best man for a long time, so this celebration will be the perfect time for him to shine. P.S. If you need a conversation starter, just ask him about playing guitar or his favorite movies of all time.

Elise Canada

Maid of Honor

With 15 years of friendship (more like sisterhood) under our belt, Elise and I have prepped for this day for what feels like forever. Our love for playing pretend and reading evolved into boy talk and book boyfriends. Unfortunately, most of our friendship has been long-distance with 8 hour FaceTime and long plane rides to stay in touch. She is a true kindred spirit and has blessed me in so many ways. P.S. If you need a conversation starter, just ask her about about unicorns or Jane Austen.

Bart Johnson

Groomsman

While Bart and I attended the same middle school, the first real memory I have with him was going to Tracy's Camp with the youth group. That week we learned about the Lord, and we learned how to do the fastest Macarena known to mankind. Bart and I have since made the perfect duo, whether it is our ability to play off of each other's jokes until we can't breathe from laughing or the ability to give much needed advice no matter how hard it is to hear. Your love for the Lord, for your wife, and for serving others is a real example! P.S. If you need a conversation starter, just ask him about his board game collection or his love for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Kate Saunders

Bridesmaid

The minute we met at 14 and 16 respectively, Kate and I knew we'd be best friends. Her humor and confidence brings joy to everyone who meets her. Most people who put us in a room together will be laughing by the end-we are just that funny. However, our humor is not the only thing we had in common, and we held each others hand through many a struggle. Our love for theater and scary movies has led us to some questionable decisions, but neither of us made those decisions alone. P.S. If you need a conversation starter, ask her about Tik Tok (or just start doing the renegade, and she'll probably join).

Zach Delaney

Groomsman

Zach is a real inspiration. We knew each other because we went to the same middle school, but we really bonded over a Bible Study in High School. Ever since then, he has been a living example of how being smart is cool, knowing math is helpful, and having a kind and meek life really brings wisdom and life. He has a strong love for the Lord and has been blessed with a quick wit and handshake skills beyond compare. P.S. If you need a conversation starter, just ask him about pole vaulting or his hidden karate talents.

Kenzie Saunders

Bridesmaid

One of the best gifts that Kate has given me was her sister: Kenzie. We met our junior year of high school, and I quickly became an active member of the Saunders family. Kenzie's friendship has shaped me in so many ways. Not only did she stay by my side through high school, we also became roommates at Charleston Southern University. While many people would question our college life (being in bed by 9:30 is a bit atypical), together we have enjoyed the laughter, tears, and stress that comes with education. Although I give her a hard time for her "homework" (reading children's books and making play-doh), I have always admired her hard work and joy through all seasons. P.S. If you need a conversation starter, ask her about being gluten free.

Christopher Bailey

Groomsman

I have known Christopher since we were 3 years old, if not younger. My first sleepover was at his house, as was my first almost-sleep-over because I got scared in the middle of the night and had to come back home. We had all of our classes together until we were in the fourth grade, and while the problems that have come our way have gotten worse than scary nights and classes without friends, he has always been there. If you need someone to encourage you, just talk to him. I am so thankful for our long friendship, and I am proud of the guy you have become. P.S. If you need a conversation starter, just ask him about Clemson football or music of all kinds.

Katie Baldwin

Bridesmaid

It is hard for me to believe that I am getting married and starting a family of my own. It is even harder for me to believe that my cousin Katie is in college and thriving. For me, I have her frozen in her room playing Barbies with me. Katie is one of those people who puts everyone before herself. I am so blessed to be related to her AND be friends with her. P. S. If you need a conversation starter, ask her about her Tik Tok fame.

Lance Kinard

Groomsman

We met by a simple act of God. On our move in day to Charleston Southern University, his dad was being nice and carrying his mom's purse to the car, and my mom saw him and jokingly said it looked great on him. Our families met up later that day, and ever since then, Lance and I have been friends. While we bonded over a love for the mountains and good dorm room decorations, Lance has also been there to challenge me and encourage me during some difficult times over the last several years. I am beyond grateful that the Lord continues to bless our friendship, and I am excited to see how we both grow from here. P.S. If you need a conversation starter, just ask him about guns or Black Rifle Coffee.

Libby Duke

Bridesmaid

Libby Duke, formerly Libby Baldwin, has been an adult since the minute she left the womb. I have looked up to her sense of purpose, her confidence, her wisdom, and her persistence to conquer every obstacle. Despite the potential for an inferiority complex that could easily come from having a cousin like her, I have been blessed to grow closer and closer to her as we have grown up. There aren't many people who would drop everything and fly out to help me wedding prep, or agree to being a bridesmaid in the middle of the PA school, but that is the definition of Libby. P.S. If you need a conversation starter, ask her about...well...anything...she's smart AND a talker.
