With swimming, hiking, and even a canopy zip line, Smuggs has activities for everyone to enjoy! They also offer lodging at the resort.
Church Street Marketplace
Church Street is a pedestrian shopping street located in downtown Burlington. Explore the hip shops along the stretch, or take a seat at one of the many open-air cafes and watch the funky street performers nearby.
The Shelburne Museum
From weathervanes, quilts and American art to transplanted 1950s era homes, a railroad station and a fully outfitted steamboat, the Shelburne Museum really does have a little of everything on display. Nearly 40 buildings, filled with various exhibits, span the museum's 45 acres. There's even a respectable collection of impressionist paintings, featuring the works of Degas, Cassatt, Manet and Monet. Approximately 8 miles from downtown Burlington, the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain
The ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center is part of the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, which is dedicated to educating visitors on the fragile Lake Champlain ecosystem. While small, the-the marine-focused children's museum if full of hands-on exhibits and is sure to keep kids entertained. It's open year-round from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Shelburne Farms
Visit where it all began! Genevieve and Corey met while working here on the farm in the summer of 2016. Shelburne Farms is a nonprofit education center and is a National Historic Landmark. It includes a working farm, children's farmyard, inn & restaurant, property tours and miles of walking trails.
