We're getting married!

Corey and Emily both grew up in Somerville. For their entire childhoods, they lived within 10 minutes of each other, played in the same little league, and had overlapping friend groups - yet they never met! Then, one day, Corey saw Emily from across Trum field, where they were playing softball and baseball. He instantly had a crush on her. They became best friends, first on Snapchat and then in real life. All of Emily's friends and family knew how much she liked Corey, even when she tried to deny it. Two years later, on December 14, 2014, Corey asked Emily to be his girlfriend by giving her his letterman jacket to wear to his hockey game. They’ve been inseparable ever since! After high school, Corey went straight to work while Emily pursued her bachelor's and master's degrees. They moved into a little apartment together in 2021, where they adopted a black cat, Toothless, and a pitbull mix, Ruthie. In June 2024, they took a trip to England and Scotland. While there, Corey (finally) proposed at the ruins of Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness! Corey and Emily were just two kids who fell in love. Now, they’re all grown up and getting married!
