Honestly , this is the truest fairy tale that couldn’t have been scripted any better #my blood cousin is her cousin through marriage, now let that sink in. Moving forward, summer of 96’ I was a suave chubby 9 year old and I can remember playing Nintendo, waiting on my cousin. However this time she had company, and I this is when I was 1st introduced to Christina. Fast Forwarding, summer camps would meet at Warner park every Monday for swimming. I would see Christina in passing, we would make eye contact and smile. My cousin would tell me how she always talked about me and thought I was handsome and wanted me to come talk to her,hoping it was true. I played it cool and laughed it off. Christina insisted that I come over to her area where it was less people. “WHY, I asked, “I’m having fun with my friends” til this day I don't know what she said to Christina but she moved to the kiddie part of the pool ( super fast), and we talked until it was time for us to leave. I told her then she would be my girlfriend forever. Years went by and we would see each other in passing, smile, and some eye contact but nothing more. I would always wonder if she ever thought about our childhood days. Her sister would randomly come to my job and we would speak, and I finally just told her put in a good word for me. She laughed and thought I was playing, and told me she would tell her to call me.. I thought, “why not try it”, thinking she wouldn’t be interested in me anymore “I mean ,who am i kidding.” “that had been about 9 years ago since the last time I even heard her voice, (besides the times I got hooked on McDonald’s Ice cream daily” ) You can’t possibly think something you stated 9 years ago would come full circle( BUT GOD). Later that night I had a Vivid dream that I can best interpreted “never question him, just look for the signs: they will, have been and always will be there, next day she called and we picked up right where we left off. #LewisLongevity

We met when we were 9 & 10 through his blood cousin who just happens to be my cousin as well through marriage ( wow). At Summer Camp in 1996 is were it all began at the Warner park pool. Based on Korey inaccurate version he is stating that I came to the kiddie pool to talk to him where it was less people, but the truth is he wasn't the best swimmer and couldn't go pass 4 feet. (Lol). We talked that day until it was time to go and became pool boyfriend and girlfriend ( Kiddie Pool Couple). He told me that I would be his girlfriend forever. Years went by and we would see one another at different events we would always have eye contact and exchange smiles but nothing more. Even though we weren't talking to one another we both were inquiring about each other through friends, but we never made any moves. Once we graduated high school we finally decided to start hanging out and talking to one another not as an official couple, but just hanging out( FRIENDS). Even though we were only hanging out I new he was the one for me and Aug 6th 2005 before he lift for college he ask me to be his girlfriend. Thought I was a little hesitant wondering how this was going to work . I said" yes" because when you're in love all you can do is try so that's just what we did. We have been rocking together ever since then a whole 12 years later. In 2006 we had our 1st daughter and 2 yrs later our 2nd baby girl came alone. On January 6 2018 Korey asked me to marry him surrounded by our beloved family and friends.
