The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. Guests staying at the hotel can get a shuttle as soon as 4pm. Stan Hywet staff will escort guests beginning promptly at 5:00pm to the ceremony location.
We kindly request formal attire. Gentlemen may wear a tuxedo or suit, while ladies are encouraged to wear long gowns or refined cocktail dresses. Dress to impress for an elegant evening of celebration!
We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a wonderful professional photographer who will be capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.
To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is March 31st, 2026. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand!
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you do have a plus one indicated on the invitation, it will be specifically addressed in your RSVP process. Thank you for understanding!
Of course! Can you imagine if we didn't? There will be welcome drinks, and a full bar during the cocktail hour and reception. We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!
Yes, as the sun will be shining (hopefully) both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. Please dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day.
No, we are having a lovely family style meal. You will have your choice of beef or chicken plus some delicious sides.
Yes, children are allowed; however, there will be no child care options available at the venue. Please plan accordingly.
