Dressy Casual/Garden Casual. We are outside and in the mountains, so keep that in mind for foot wear and warmth.
Generally in early May it will be nice and in the high sixties, but we are in the mountains so expect cooler temps when the sun goes down.
We are getting married at Grateful Heart Animal Sanctuary in Big Bear, California. This means everything is outside and on dirt and that animals will be close by. They have generously allowed us to hold the entire event there and donations to this excellent cause are appreciated.
Big Bear has an assortment of resorts and Air B&Bs.
There are three roads up and down to Big Bear, check your maps to see what's open and fastest for you. It may take longer to get up then you think so we suggest leaving some extra wiggle room on travel as mountain traffic and conditions can be unpredictable.
The entire ceremony and reception will be held outside. Masks and social distancing are completely optional and left to each guests comfort level.
Wine and selected beer and cocktails will be provided, but if you have something you'd like to bring, be our guests!
