San Antonio River Walk

The Alamo

Remember the Alamo! Guided tours get busy, so go in the morning if you can.

Pearl Brewery

Great area for food, drinks, and shopping. We recommend La Gloria for Mexican, and of course stop by the beautiful Hotel Emma for drinks in their unique bar.

Southtown

An easy Uber ride from Downtown San Antonio, the Southtown neighborhood boasts great restaurants, the Blue Star Brewery, and a favorite local eat of the Bride - The Liberty Bar, now located in a renovated convent.

San Antonio Mission Trail

Grab a bike or scooter from the B-Cycle station or drive, and enjoy a trip along the San Antonio River to 5 Catholic missions along the trail (including The Alamo and Mission San Jose where the wedding will take place!). Starting at the Alamo, the missions are designated as UNESCO World Heritage sites - these old, beautiful churches are not to be missed!

San Fernando Cathedral

Every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays at 9:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. the Cathedral puts on a light show depicting San Antonio: The Saga. It's not to be missed!

Historic Market Square

Great restaurants, including Mi Tierra, this historic Mexican marketplace "El Mercado" is the perfect place to shop for clothes, pottery, vanilla, and other goods.
