Corey said we were going to a Mardi Gras party. This was a Wednesday afternoon, so even though he was acting strange, I never expected what was about to happen. We drove up to the "party" and no-one was there! As we walked around to the back of the house to look for everyone, I noticed the champagne and roses he had set up by the river. What happened next is a complete blur, but thankfully a photographer was stationed nearby and caught it all on camera! We immediately went to see Corey's grandmother to tell her the good news. We became the most popular people in the retirement community! Next stop was our parents. Corey said they were all together at his moms house. We drove up to a candle lit driveway and walked in to be greeted by our families and our best friends. We spent the rest of the night celebrating with our favorite people, and wouldn't have wanted it any other way!
