It all started when Coren smiled at Adam getting off of the 5th grade bus. It wasn't until 8th grade when they had multiple classes together that their feelings had really begun. When Adam went off to college and Coren stayed in Rochester to pursue a career as a hairstylist, they thought it would never happen. It wasn't until Adam came back for Christmas break in 2012 and him and Coren unknowingly ended up being at the same party. They have been inseparable ever since.
In early February, the talk of an Easter egg hunt began with our families and Adam was all for it. Looking back, I should have found this odd as he is not into things like that. It was planned for Sunday April 11th due to my busy Saturdays as a hairstylist. Everything was all set, but unfortunately the rainy weather had forced them to quickly change it to Saturday the 10th after I got out. I was not happy with this being that I was the only one who had to come from work and I was in full brat mode. After a few white claws and some convincing, I was on that trail running around and searching for my eggs. My last and final one was a note asking if I would marry him. I was shocked to turn around and see Adam down on one knee with a ring. I could hardly grasp what was happening, but I couldn't say yes faster. I had no idea that going into that Easter egg hunt I would be coming out as the future Mrs. Drinkwater. When we were 19, Adam asked me when the appropriate age for him to propose to me was. I said 28. Less than 2 weeks after Adams 28th birthday, we were engaged. We are so excited to celebrate our love with you and cannot wait to see you in Corning, NY!
